Samsung PN42A400 42”
Up for review: Samsung PN42A400. With the launch of the new PN42A400, Samsung pioneers into the next level of plasma HDTV technology and design. With a 720p high definition resolution and Samsung’s proprietary Digital Natural Image engine technology, the new 42” Plasma TV delivers deep, rich blacks and more detailed picture quality. The DNle™ technology takes care of the color optimization, contrast and detail picture quality enhancement to produce vivid, life-like images. In addition to this, the 1024 horizontal x 768 vertical pixel resolution of this Plasma TV offers outstanding image clarity.
To reduce any sort of visual blurring, the new Samsung PN42A400 has inbuilt Anti-burn-in Technology which works in three modes namely Signal pattern processing, Auto pixel shift and All White mode to reduce the visual distortions. When motion pictures are transferred to a digital format such as DVD, the 3:2 pulldown feature of the PN42A400 helps reducing any possible artifacts.
The price of the new Samsung PN42A400 is very affordable coming in around $699. Given below is a sneak peek into the specification review detail of the new Samsung PN42A400.
