LG 42PQ30 42”

Up for review: LG 42PQ30 42-inch Plasma TV. The 42PQ30 is designed for those that want a great bargain TV but still want the quality of one of the biggest electronic name brands, LG. The 720p resolution is the most noticeable difference between this HDTV and others. 720p is still high definition but not as high of resolution as 1080p which is available on other HDTV’s. The conscious customer will get a huge plasma TV for a minimal price.

A review of the LG 42PQ30 shows that it offers a dynamic contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1 which is fantastic in this range of HDTVs. The pictures are crisp, clear and a treat for the eyes. This set also has a Dual XD engine which makes efficient video processing possible. You will always get a beautiful picture, regardless of the quality of input signal. Brightness of the panel is 1500 cd/sq.m. Intelligent Sensor technology allows for optimal power consumption. The lighting of the room will decide the backlight settings.

Photo viewing and digital music can be brought to you through the USB port. There are 3 HDMI connections for better access to high-definition devices.
