'This Is It' is not the only Michael Jackson recording dominating sales at digital retail this week. According to just released figures, "Thriller" is making a comeback !

The late King of Pop's massive single, which helped his "Number Ones" album become 2009s best selling album, returned to the digital sales chart Thursday.

Moving at digital retailers such as Amazon and iTunes, "Thriller" claimed no.47 on Billboard's Digital Songs tally.

News of the resurgence, months after Jackson's death, comes just as the anticipated documentary "This Is It" arrives in theaters.

Opened worldwide Wednesday, after a simultaneous premiere in select locations Tuesday, Jackson's "This Is It" also comes with a double disc package. That package, which features two versions of "This Is It," includes a number of studio recordings and a spoken word piece. At press time, early sales predictions for that release, which arrived in stores Monday, are at or above 300,000 copies (U.S.) -- making it a shoe in for the top spot on Billboard's 200 albums chart next week.
