Himfr.com Evaluates Nokia Slide-form X3 Music Phone

BEIJING, Oct. 28 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Himfr.com, one of China's leading

evaluates the Nokia slide-form X3 music phone.
   The first impression the Nokia X3 gives people is that it is small, with
96 x 49.3 x 14.1mm body measurements and 69.8g in weight. This kind of mobile
phone is slightly smaller than previous models, with a plastic shell that
slides open smoothly.
   The Nokia X3 is too similar to previous models in terms of shape and
color;

   On the top of the phone, there is a charger port, a data wire, and a 3.5mm
headphone jack. The data wire is a B-mini USB interface. Although the
interfaces do not interfere with one another, they are concentrated on the
phone's top. Since it is a music phone, a great speaker is essential; the
Nokia X3 provides two separate speakers in the body on both ends of the power
amplifier, which provide excellent sound quality.
   The Nokia X3 has a built-in alarm clock, calendar, a unit conversion
function, an English-Chinese dictionary, world times, mobile QQ, and an Opera
mini browser, and additional applications can be added through the JAVA
extension program.
   Himfr comments that although the Nokia X3 is the first of a new X series,
looking at the system content, it does not appear to have too many
innovations.
This design cannot help but remind one of the applications in the Nokia N900
on the Maemo 5 system; it shows that Nokia is working on Android and so
emerging systems are seen as a threat.
   On the market, the phone runs about RMB 1,200 yuan. It is a fairly low-end
cell phone without much room for further price cuts. Himfr.com suggests that
