HTC Hero Android Phone Review

Chris Hardwick brings the new HTC Hero Android phone to Olivia Munn, with its 3.2" touch screen, HTC Sense, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity and much more for only $180 with a contract.

Check out the full Attack of the Show review after the cut.

What You Need To Know

* The HTC Hero is extremely similar to the T-Mobile MyTouch.
* It's about half an inch thick, weighs about 4.5 ounces which is less than an iPhone.
* The Hero has the Android OS and HTC's Sense user interface which helps you customize every aspect of the phone.
* The touch screen is super responsible with multi-touch!
* You have up to 7 home screens and can create shortcuts for apps, folders, widgets and anything else you want.
* The touch keyboard works surprisingly well with good accuracy and auto-correcting.
* They also added a lot more needed features which work well for the most part, like Flash Lite in the web browser.
* The browser took a little while to load Flash but otherwise it was good.
* The multi touch helps a lot. The Android Market keeps getting better and better with over 10,000 apps to pick.
* The phone handles installing and running the apps well.
* The 5.0 megapixel camera was disappointing: shots were blurry and hard to focus.
* The picture quality was only okay if you managed to get a clear shot.

Price

* $180 with a contract.
* Despite the camera, the new features on the HTC Hero are a big highlight! This is the first Android phone for Sprint and one of the best you can get.
